The record
French radio caught the quartet here, later rescued for Pablo's archival run -- Tyner's chords cascading under Jones's polyrhythms as Coltrane stretches into long-form improvisation. Falls neatly into the fertile stretch between the 1962 quartet album and the group's mid-decade peak.
