The record
A trio with no chord instrument at all: Joe Farrell covering tenor, soprano and flute, Jimmy Garrison on bass, and Jones filling every space a piano would have taken. Six tracks, "Yesterdays" and "We'll Be Together Again" among them, with nothing to lean on harmonically, which is the point. Duke Pearson produced. Blue Note BST 84305, 1969.
