Ten inches, three tracks, and an alto in the front line rather than a tenor: Davey Schildkraut next to Miles, with Horace Silver at the piano and Percy Heath and Kenny Clarke behind them. "Solar" leads, followed by "You Don't Know What Love Is" and "I'll Remember April." Rudy Van Gelder engineered, Ira Gitler wrote the notes. Prestige PrLP 185, 1954.

This is a 10-inch record and every copy we list is one. The US Prestige PrLP 185 on file is a 1955 repress rather than a first issue, and the earliest we hold outright is a 1956 UK Esquire mono, 20-072, RVG stamped. A 1957 French Barclay 84032, also 10-inch mono with an RVG stamp, is the other period option on this page.
