The record
A trio in full cry alongside a chamber string quartet, caught live as Coleman pushed past the Atlantic-era quartet sound toward something starker and more vocal. ESP-Disk' later issued the tapes, preserving one of the boldest concert documents of his early-60s search for new forms.
