Bassists and drummers rotate through this RCA date, but Hancock's modern chords and Jim Hall's chiming lines give the standards a fresh spine under Rollins' rework. Familiar tunes pulled apart and reassembled on the spot.

Pressings
Everything early here is 1965 RCA Victor, cut Dynagroove: stereo LSP-3355 and mono LPM-3355, both listed that year, with a Hollywood pressing of the mono among them. Britain got RD 7736 in mono and SF-7736 in stereo. The Canadian mono LPM-3355 is the one copy noted with a deep groove. Beyond that the only reissue on file is a 1974 Japanese RGP-1095 -- no modern audiophile edition is listed.
