The record

Sharrock's guitar snarls against a bed of cello and double bass, an odd pairing for a record billed under Mann's name. Cut for Atlantic's short-lived Embryo line in 1969, the session pushes his flute into murkier, funk-tinged chamber territory with Carter and Vitous splitting the low end.
