Three-fourths of Coltrane's rhythm section back him here, Tyner's vamps and Elvin's churn pushing an extended 'My Favorite Things' into modal terrain. Shelved for over a decade, it finds him stretching past his usual frame.

Pressings
We hold no original-era LP for this title. The earliest pressing on file here is a 1979 Japanese Blue Note, GXF 3053, a limited edition stereo, with GXK 8159 following in 1980. Music Matters has done the serious work since: MM-BST-84442 at 45 RPM in 2010 and a 180 gram gatefold, MMBST-84442, in 2015, both listing an RVG stamp and laminated sleeve. Blue Note's European BRP-8045 also dates to 2015.
