The record
Recorded over two nights at a Detroit club, this set catches Green riding Ronnie Foster's organ and Idris Muhammad's pocket while Houston Person and Clarence Thomas trade tenor and soprano lines. The crowd noise on tape says the groove needed no studio polish.
