Recorded before a live audience in the summer of 1970, this date pairs twin organs and conga with Green's guitar for a long, sweaty groove built more for dancing than close listening. Idris Muhammad's backbeat and Bobby Green's between-song announcements keep the room's energy on tape.

The earliest on file here is a 1971 US stereo, Blue Note BST-84360; an All Disc pressing from the same year carries an RVG stamp, and a South African BLC 84360 comes in a laminated sleeve. The 1973 and 1975 US copies are label reissues on the same number. We list no audiophile edition -- the 2011 BLP 4360 is a Scorpio pressing -- so a clean 1971 copy is the one to find.
