The record
Live piano-trio dates rarely swing this hard -- Walton's blues-drenched comping locks in with Sam Jones and Louis Hayes, longtime Cannonball Adderley rhythm mates, while Clifford Jordan sits in for a few tenor turns. Muse caught the second helping of that club date, a loose, unhurried set from a working band at full strength.
