The record

Two ballads on ten inches of shellac, "What's New" and "Indian Summer," with Getz backed by a rhythm section out of the bebop world: Al Haig on piano, Tommy Potter on bass, Roy Haynes on drums. A 78 rather than an LP, so you get one performance a side and nothing padded. Roy Haynes alone repays the attention. Prestige 740.
