A live date that caught alto man John Handy at a creative peak, pairing him with Michael White's violin and Jerry Hahn's guitar for a modal, freewheeling sound outside the standard sax-quartet mold. The Monterey crowd's response helped make this one of the era's more unexpected festival breakouts.
