The record
Art Farmer's trumpet shares the front line with Mobley's tenor, and Horace Silver, Doug Watkins and Art Blakey work underneath -- a 1500-series Blue Note, BLP 1550, from 1957. Six titles, 'Wham And They're Off' and 'Startin' From Scratch' among them. Alfred Lion produced, Harold Feinstein designed the cover around a Francis Wolff photograph, Robert Levin wrote the notes.
