Benny Golson carries a triple credit here -- tenor, composer, arranger -- which makes this nearly as much his record as Morgan's. Gigi Gryce doubles alto and flute, Wynton Kelly plays piano, Paul Chambers and Charlie Persip hold it down. Blue Note BLP 1557, 1957, Alfred Lion producing, Nat Hentoff on the notes. 'I Remember Clifford' is the track that carries the side.
