The record

Pepper Adams' baritone adds low-end heft to this sextet, with Art Farmer's trumpet and Sonny Clark's comping filling out a frontline built for muscle. Chambers and Philly Joe Jones drive it hard, leaving room for Mobley's tenor to ease through at its own pace.
