Xanadu dug through the vaults for this coast-rivalry curio, though the personnel tell a friendlier story -- Philly Joe Jones and Paul Chambers mixing with Marable and Lewis behind young Hawes. His Bud Powell schooling is already plain, years before Contemporary made him a name.
