The record
Guaraldi turns Luiz Bonfa and Antonio Carlos Jobim's Black Orpheus melodies into a trio showcase, Budwig and Bailey brushing softly behind his glassy touch. Cut the same year his own composition would cross over, catching the samba wave just as it broke.
