Billed to the pianist, but the front line is what pulls you in: Idrees Sulieman's trumpet and John Coltrane's tenor threading past Kenny Burrell's guitar, with Doug Watkins and Louis Hayes keeping it light on its feet. The earliest we list is a 1962 UK Esquire 32-156, mono with a laminated sleeve, then a 1963 US New Jazz NJLP 8217 listed without a deep groove, and a 1965 New Jazz 8217 reissue with an RVG stamp. The practical modern copy is the 1983 OJC-079, or the 2023 Craft Recordings CR00614, a Kevin Gray mono remaster.
