An octet under Mariano's alto -- Joe Gordon on trumpet, Sonny Truitt trombone, Jim Clark tenor, George Myers baritone, and a rhythm section of Roy Frazee, Jack Lawlor and Gene Glennon. Eight tracks on a Prestige ten-inch from 1952, two of them appearing as paired alternate masters of 'Boston Uncommon' and 'The Wizard.' Ira Gitler supplied the notes. PRLP 130.
