The record
Cellos and bass trombone turn up alongside Jolly's trio here, an odd but appealing palette for a '64 session that also pulls in Kessel and Roberts on guitar. Proof of how deep the Los Angeles session pool ran when a small label wanted color instead of the usual setup.
