The record
A chamber-jazz curiosity from the third-stream circle -- harp, bassoon, and flute mingling with Getz, Thompson, and J.J. Johnson under Gunther Schuller's compositional hand. VSP's budget imprint preserved a rare meeting of bebop heavyweights and classical instrumentation, cut just as the third-stream idea was taking shape.
