The record
West Coast cool heads take on Mancini's noir-tinged TV theme, with Feldman's vibes and marimba adding a chime to Geller and Candoli's front-line punch. Cut in early '59 for Stereo Records, it's Manne's crew loosening up hip studio material into swinging, wide-open jazz.
