The record
A Bay Area supersession disguised as a jazz date -- Santana and Schon trade guitar lines over Clarke and White's rhythm work while Gasca's trumpet steers the whole thing through Latin-rock heat. Verve's early-70s fusion gamble, cut when jazz and rock personnel mixed freely and nobody worried about the genre bins.
