The record
Boogaloo grease drives this one, George Benson's guitar sparking off Lonnie Smith's organ while the alto rides high on the backbeat. This session helped push Blue Note squarely toward the dance floor.

The earliest pressing on file here is the 1967 US stereo, BST 84263, with the mono, BLP 4263, from the same year -- one mono row is an All Disc pressing carrying an RVG stamp. From 1970 the stereo number reappears on repressings, several from the Keel plant, and a 1981 Japanese cut runs as GXK-8218. The 2019 Blue Note 180g reissue keeps the BST 84263 number and is the current in-print copy.
