A compilation, and the credits show it: three trombonists in Winding, J.J. Johnson and Bennie Green, plus two pianists, two bassists and two drummers. Twelve titles including 'Bags' Groove' and 'Stardust'. Rudy Van Gelder engineered and cut the lacquer, Ira Gitler wrote the notes. Worth it for the low-brass blend alone.
