The record

The hook is two saxophones: Houston Person and Earl Edwards both credited, curling around Johnny Hammond's organ with Floyd Smith's guitar and John Harris's drums underneath. 'Cleopatra And The African Knight' is the strutting oddity in the running order; 'You Don't Know What Love Is' is where Hammond slows everything to a crawl. Prestige, 1965, engineered by Rudy Van Gelder.
