The record
Henderson's first date as leader arrives fully formed, Dorham's trumpet lending seasoned cover while Tyner colors the changes underneath. "Blue Bossa" and "Recorda Me" both debut here, tart proof of a new voice landing on Blue Note.

Pressings
The earliest on file is a 1963 US mono BLP 4140 -- deep groove, RVG stamp, Plastylite ear, laminated sleeve -- with a stereo BST 84140 carrying the same four markers that year. Liberty-era repressings follow from 1966, then a long line of BST 84140 reissues. For sound rather than provenance, the 2009 Analogue Productions 45 RPM AP-84140 and the 2014 Music Matters MMBST-84140 are the serious modern cuts. Look for the ear before paying original money.
