The record
A 1971 date that finds Green leaning hard into the funk-jazz current of the era, with Rainey's electric bass and Riggins' keys laying a groove beneath Wooten's vibes. Two drummers plus Armando's congas thicken the pocket, part of the guitarist's run of grittier, dancefloor-minded Blue Note sessions from the period.
