A late-'60s left turn into vibraphone-led psych-jazz, cut for the label McFarland co-founded with Cal Tjader and Gabor Szabo. Rainey and Davis anchor a groove-heavy date where Bernhardt's organ and Richardson's soprano and flute drift through electric-era haze.
