The record
Written for Robert Wise's death-row picture, this soundtrack date puts Mulligan's baritone alongside Art Farmer and Bud Shank over a crack rhythm section of Manne, Mitchell, and Jolly. Tight charts made for celluloid that swing plenty hard on record alone.
