Live-road document of Mulligan's short-lived big band, its saxes and brass voiced with the same airy counterpoint he'd honed in the pianoless quartets. Brookmeyer and Zoot Sims get ample room to stretch, proof this outfit swung as hard touring as it did on Verve's studio dates.
