Frank Wess turning up on flute opposite Ammons's tenor is the pairing to listen for, though the credits also carry Johnny Hammond's organ and Mal Waldron's piano, two bassists in Doug Watkins and Wendell Marshall, and two drummers in Art Taylor and Ed Thigpen.
