The record
Clifford Brown's trumpet and Lou Donaldson's alto over Horace Silver, Curly Russell and Art Blakey, live -- the title puts it at Birdland, and there are only three titles here: 'Split Kick', 'Once In A While' and 'Quicksilver'. A Blue Note ten-inch from 1954, BLP 5037, with Leonard Feather's liner notes, Francis Wolff photographs and a cover designed by John Hermansader.
