The record
Harden's flugelhorn leads a Detroit-heavy frontline through modal-tinged blowing dates cut during Coltrane's fertile 1958 run as a sideman, with Curtis Fuller and Tommy Flanagan filling out the arrangements. A lesser-known corner of Trane's pre-Atlantic catalogue, worth hearing for the horn blend alone.

Pressings
The earliest copy we list is Savoy's 1958 US mono, MG-12136, with no groove or stamp detail recorded. Savoy issued a stereo, ST-13005, in 1973, and Japan worked the title through the 1970s: CBS/Sony's SOPU 33-SY in 1974 and an Arista pressing, WAJ-50029, in 1977 that carries an RVG stamp. A Japanese Savoy reissue, COJY-9066, came in 1993 and Doxy pressed clear vinyl, ACV2091, in 2017.
