Gene Harris's piano carries it, with Andrew Simpkins's bass and Bill Dowdy's drums tucked in close, and the program keeps sliding between the church and the songbook -- 'Sermonette' and 'Nothin' But The Blues' on one side, 'Little Girl Blue' and 'The Masquerade Is Over' on the other.
