The record
Three tenor generations share a mic here -- Getz's airy cool against Coleman Hawkins' weight and Paul Gonsalves' Ellington-schooled swing, Gillespie firing things up from the trumpet chair. Wynton Kelly's trio keeps the rhythm generous enough for everyone to stretch.
