The record
Two rhythm sections rotate through this Prestige blowing date, Dorham's brass sparring with Rollins over the Roach-Morrow pulse that carried his mid-'50s peak. Loose and confident, cut in a year when little he touched went wrong.

Pressings
The earliest pressing on file here is the 1961 Prestige mono, PR 7207. A 1964 Prestige repress of the same number carries an RVG stamp and a laminated sleeve, and the 1966 PRST 7207 is mono despite the stereo-style prefix. Overseas, Top Rank issued it in Japan as MJ-7024 in 1961 and Esquire in the UK as 32-175 in 1963. The 2016 Doxy ACV 2075 is a modern reissue.
