A live trio date in Copenhagen capturing Sassy at her loosest -- Kirk Stuart's piano trio giving her room to bend phrases and banter with the crowd. Buster Williams' bass work here shows why he'd soon be in demand across the jazz world.

Pressings

The earliest on file is the 1963 US Mercury mono MG 20831; the stereo SR-60831 came out the same year and both exist as promos, so mono and stereo are genuinely contemporaneous here rather than one trailing the other. Europe took the Dutch 125 347 MCL in mono and 125 347 MCY, with a UK stereo as 135 900 MCY. Everything later is reissue -- Japan's SFX-10511 in 1977, a US EXPR-1035 in 1982.
