A working-band summit of first-call New York players caught live in '75, with Wess weaving between soprano and flute over Hanna's harmonically rich comping and the airtight Carter-Riley pulse. Salvation's spare pressing preserves a rare document of these veterans stretching out together outside their usual studio dates.
