The record
A Rodgers and Hammerstein songbook turned into trio fare, with Bennett's bass anchoring tight, economical piano work and Levey's brushes staying out of the way. One of the few dates where this pianist stepped out from behind a vocalist to lead.
Session personnel
- Max Bennett — bass
- Stan Levey — drums
- Lou Levy — piano, liner notes
