The record
Cadet gave Donaldson an unusually beefed-up front line for this late-'64 date -- twin altos, baritone, tenor and trumpet stacked for big-band punch. Phil Woods trades fours with him over Lloyd Mayers' organ and Grady Tate's backbeat, a horn-heavy departure from the usual quartet setting.
