The record
Marty Paich arranged this Mode date with a reed section built for doubling -- Geller, Lang, and Enevoldsen trading clarinets, altos, and one valve trombone under Bryan's cool, unhurried phrasing. Sheldon's trumpet and Lewis's brushwork keep the swing loose and conversational, Hollywood-studio style circa 1957.
