The credits name four: Johnny Hammond at the organ, Thornel Schwartz on guitar, George Tucker on bass, Leo Stevens at the drums. What they do with 'Bye, Bye Blackbird,' 'Autumn Leaves' and 'Billie's Bounce' is plainspoken and unhurried, nothing dressed up. The title track and 'Puddin'' are where the group loosens its collar.
