The record
Assembled from more than one date, by the look of the credits -- two bassists, two drummers, two guitarists -- which gives Jimmy Forrest's tenor a handful of different settings. Ray Barretto's congas are in the mix, Jimmy Cleveland and Ernie Royal add trombone and trumpet, Hugh Lawson takes a piano chair. New Jazz NJLP 8293, 1964, notes by Dan Morgenstern. 'Experiment In Terror' is the odd one out.
