Columbia set Mann in front of a bigger horn section for this April '57 date, Hank Jones and Oscar Pettiford anchoring while Philly Joe Jones and Gus Johnson split the drum chair. The arrangements favor alto flute's breathier register over Mann's usual combo attack.
