Cut live at Newport in the summer of 1963, the band leans on Willie Bobo and Patato's hand drums while Dave Pike's vibes and Attila Zoller's guitar frame Mann's flute. Clear evidence of how far Afro-Cuban rhythm had worked into his touring group by then.
