The record
The title names both a quintet and a sextet, and the credits carry the spread: two bassists, Clyde Lombardi and Red Mitchell; two drummers, Joe Morello and Max Roach; trombone from Eddie Bert and from someone credited only as X. Kentonite. Gil Mellé plays tenor and designed the cover. Tal Farlow's guitar, George Wallington's piano, Joe Manning on vibes and a Monica Dell vocal fill out a crowded Blue Note ten-inch, BLP 5020.
