The record
Two dates, April 1953 and June 1954, with the cast swapped almost wholesale: Brew Moore or Zoot Sims on tenor, George Duvivier or Vinnie Burke on bass, Ed Shaughnessy or Joe Morello at the kit, Harvey Leonard or John Mehegan at the piano. Chuck Wayne's guitar is the only fixed point, which is a strange way to build a leader date and a good reason to hear it. On Savoy.
