The record
Ron Carter and Jack DeJohnette lock down a groove elastic enough for Joe Henderson and George Benson to stretch inside it, while Hancock's chords color the corners. CTI polish serves the playing here rather than smothering it.

Pressings
The earliest on file is the 1970 US CTI 6007, a gatefold with an RVG stamp; a Santa Maria green-label copy of the same year adds a laminated sleeve, and the UK pressing also dates to 1970. Japan came in 1971 on King Records as SR 3311, gatefold and Van Gelder stamped. CTI recycled the title as CTI 8022 in 1982. The most recent cut we list is a 2014 UK remaster of CTI 6007, gatefold and 180 gram.
