Yugoslav-born trumpeter Goykovich leads a tight, blues-soaked quintet through his own charts, splitting time between crackling trumpet runs and warm flugelhorn balladry. A prime slice of the hard-bop-meets-European-cool sound MPS captured so well at the top of the '70s.
